Meet Dr. Jordan, DO, IFMCP
I’m Brooke Jordan, a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine and, probably most importantly, mom to two wonderful kids, Nolan and Evelyn.
My journey to functional medicine began during my years practicing as a family medicine physician in large hospital systems. I often felt frustrated by the limitations of conventional care: not enough time with patients and too few lasting improvements in their health. I wanted a better way. Discovering functional medicine gave me that path.
Functional medicine addresses the whole person, the connections between body systems, the underlying causes of illness, and the fundamental role lifestyle plays in healing. This approach deeply resonated with me, and it has since become my passion and calling. Today, I work with a wide range of patients, male and female, from adolescence through later adulthood, helping them not only regain health but also sustain it for the long term.
I earned my medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed my Family Medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. I became board certified in Family Medicine in 2016 and later pursued advanced training in functional medicine, earning certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2025.
Outside of my practice you’ll find me enjoying life with family and friends, reading, and spending time outdoors at our family ranch. These moments recharge me and inspire the balance I strive to help my patients achieve.
